NEWBERRY – Newberry College is proud to announce that women’s track & field standouts Irma Watson-Perez and Mia Dionisio have been named to the NCAA All-Region team, recognizing their outstanding performances during the season.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) awards All-Region honors to the top five individuals in each event across their respective regions. Watson-Perez and Dionisio demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the season, securing their spots among the best in the region.

Watson-Perez, a dominant force in the weight throw, consistently showcased her athleticism and dedication, setting new benchmarks for Newberry College. Dionisio excelled in both sprints and jumps, proving to be a crucial contributor to the team’s success. Their achievements reflect the hard work and commitment of the entire Wolves Track & Field program.

With these accolades, Watson-Perez and Dionisio continue to elevate Newberry College’s track & field program on the national stage. Their All-Region selections highlight the growing strength of the Wolves in collegiate athletics.
