NEWBERRY — Pamela Daffin Stansberry has been named a 2026 Top 10 Business Woman by the American Business Women’s Association which recognizes achievements in career, education, local chapter involvement and community action.
Top 10 honorees exemplify ABWA’s mission of bringing together business and working women for personal and professional growth. Stansberry will be recognized by her local chapter, Women Connecting Women, on Nov. 8 during the 5th annual Evening of Excellence celebration at the Newberry College Center for Teacher Education, 1121 Speers Street. She will then travel to the National Women’s Leadership Conference in Portland, Maine for national recognition.
A native of Linden, Alabama, Stansberry graduated third in her class from Amelia Love Johnson High School. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration (Economics) from Talladega College (Magna Cum Laude) and an MBA (Management Information Systems) from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Stansberry began her career at NCR Corporation (Dayton, OH) as a Software Engineer and Oracle Database Administrator. She is currently a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and serves as Delivery Manager for Infrastructure, Database Administration, and Data Warehousing at IBM Corporation.
Beyond her profession, Stansberry stays engaged in community service. She is a member of the Interdenominational Alliance of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Inc. of Greater Columbia, serves as Vice Chair of the Living Hope Foundation in Newberry and is a member of the Columbia (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
A poet, author, and philanthropist, Stansberry uses inspirational storytelling to uplift others—an avocation she began in grade school “to capture both her reality and her dreams.” She is the wife of the late Pastor Rinzee L. Stansberry, Sr., and mother to Briana, Kimberly, and Rinzee Jr. In challenging seasons, Stansberry is guided by Romans 8:28: “All things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.”
