NEWBERRY — The Newberry Arts Center is hosting a holiday door hanging ornament painting party on Nov. 23 at their 1200 Main St. location to kick off the holidays.
The ornament painting party is open to the public. It begins at 6:30 p.m.
Registration is at the Newberry Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, 1323 College St. A $25 registration fee, payable in cash or by check, is due when registering.
“The Arts Center asks everyone to contribute to the event by bringing a refreshment or beverage of your choice for yourself or to share with others,” said Marquerite Palmer, special program coordinator for City of Newberry Parks Recreation building.
A Snowman painting party will be held Nov. 30 and a Kids Christmas Art Camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 21 and Dec. 22. The cost is $45 per day. All materials and snacks will be provided.
