NEWBERRY — The results are in from today’s special election for Newberry City Council District Five, with Jackie Holmes winning the election.
Jackie Holmes received 59 votes and Paige Sheena received 30.
Holmes will replace Councilman Thomas Boyd, who passed away in February.
