The goal of SAR is to carry forward the principles of our ancestors by preserving history, participating in and assisting with educational programs and promoting groups and organizations that advocate the principles that have kept America a strong and prosperous nation for 240 years.

There are many in South Carolina and specifically in Newberry County who could qualify to support its patriotic and educational programs. Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution is open to all males whose lineage can be traced to service in the American Revolution.
