NEWBERRY — Even though they were charged with 13 fouls on the night, the Newberry High Lady Bulldogs only sent the Chapin Lady Eagles to the free-throw line seven times, as the Lady Bulldogs won their fourth consecutive road game in less than two weeks with their 61-37 victory.

Newberry led by six points after each of the first two quarters…including 24-18 at the half.

The Lady Bulldogs started on a 15-1 run in all but 90 seconds of the third stanza as they would go into the fourth quarter with the 41-21 advantage.

Rehgan Miller scored five baskets from behind the three-point arc to finish with a game-high 22 points.

Kelsey Felks scored 12 of her 21 points in the third quarter, while Lindsey Ruff also saw a double-digit night as she finished with 10 points.

Rayanna Davis rounded out the Newberry scoring with eight points.

Newberry will host Dreher on Tuesday before taking a week off for the holidays.
