NEWBERRY — The Newberry High School Tennis Team continues to make history! The Lady Bulldogs earned a second round Class AAA SCHSL State Playoffs victory at home against Loris High School — advancing further than they have in the past five years!
The team will competed in the third round on Thursday, October 30, at home, against the winner of Waccamaw High School and Hanahan High School.
Zoe Reid has been playing in the number one spot for the Lady Bulldogs all season and won her 50th career match against Loris with a 6-1 and 6-0 victory in her match.
The Lady Bulldogs are hoping to move on to the Lower State Class AAA Championship on Monday, November 4! Congratulations to Coach Pelton and the Lady Bulldog Tennis Team!
