NEWBERRY — Three recent graduates of Newberry High School baseball program officially sign their letter of intents to their respective colleges. Noah Mills, Adam Riefsnyder and Liam Davenport all signed with their college programs on August 5th.

Mills had previously announced his commitment to Newberry College football program and has now started his first fall camp in college. As a senior, he hit .467 at the plate along with 21 hits, 12 RBIs and 18 total runs scored.

Riefsnyder signed with Newberry College baseball program and will have some familiar faces alongside him in college because Mid-Carolina’s star pitcher Jacob Clark will also be attending and on the mound for Newberry College in Spring 2025. He batted .264 during his senior campaign while getting 19 hits, 10 RBIs, and scoring 15 runs.

Last but not least, Davenport will be attending USC Sumter to continue his academic and athletic career as a member of their baseball program. He had a batting average of .265 along with 18 total hits, 10 RBIs and 12 total runs scored in his senior season.

All three players were seniors at Newberry High School last school year. Though their senior season didn’t go as planned, the three Bulldogs played well enough to earn college scholarships and gave their team a chance to win in every game last season.
