NEWBERRY — The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2023-24 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards and Newberry College was one of 12 institutions to have more than 200 student-athletes earn the honor.
The Wolves had the sixth highest total in all of Division 2 and second-most recipients in the South Atlantic Conference with 221.
The South Atlantic Conference lead all D2 conferences with 2,076 honorees.
To qualify for this honor, student-athlete must have, a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
