NEWBERRY – Last week’s South Carolina Army National Guard Player of the Week is Kegan Crowell.
Crowell, a three-time SAC performer of the week, won the SAC titles in the discus and hammer and broke the conference record in the discus. He currently has the 12th best discus mark in the country and should receive an invitation to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Emporia, Kan., May 23-25. Crowell was by far the most dominant discus performer in the league, winning the event by 15 feet. He also won the SAC discus title in 2023.
