The first quarter ended in a tie 8-8.

It looked like the game would go into halftime 8-8, but the Knights were able to score with less than two minutes to go — the two-point conversion was no good. Going into halftime, the Eagles were behind by one touchdown, 14-8.

The Eagles took the lead back shortly into the third quarter thanks to Gardner, and with the two-point conversion by Gardner being successful, they led 16-14. The Eagles did not take this lightly and once again Gardner was able to score a touchdown, and with the successful two-point conversion, they led 24-22 going into the fourth.

There was only one touchdown left in the night, and that came from the Knights, the two-point conversion was no good and the final score came out to 28-24.
