Juneteenth celebrated in the City of Newberry

Temperatures may have been high, but the energy was even higher at the fourth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday. The celebration started at Bethlehem Baptist Church where participants marched to Memorial Park for the official kickoff. Local officials were in attendance to recognize Newberry County scholarship recipients followed by a day of history,music, Zumba, fashion, talent and vendors selling various items.
