NEWBERRY — City and county firefighters recently received training on propane at the Newberry Emergency Service Training Facility from Thompson Gas of Newberry.
Through training, participants learned how to mitigate and control propane leaks and propane fuel fires.
Fire Chief Keith Minick said the city was always appreciative of their partnership with local companies to keep the community safe while training firefighters in their ability to respond to incidents.
