NEWBERRY — Christmas has officially arrived at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital after their annual LoveLight Ceremony on Tuesday.

The LoveLight Ceremony puts a spotlight on the ornaments on the Christmas tree in the lobby of the hospital — the ornaments are in honor or remembrance of someone’s loved one.

“Thanks to everyone who helped support Newberry Hospital with the gift of a LoveLight. All of this helps support the hospital,” said Kay Traylor, director of Nursing Inpatient and chair of the Foundation Board of Directors.

To help bring the holiday cheer, Brooke Talbot, music teacher at Newberry Elementary School, led the Newberry Elementary School Honors Chorus with holiday music.
