NEWBERRY — During the 2016-2017 school year, 18 Newberry County Career Center Health Science students graduated with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) certifications.

They are now qualified to seek employment as a CNA or RPhT in a health care facility.

The students are 2017 graduates of the three area high schools. They have attended NCCC for the past two years majoring in Health Science as part of their desire to learn more about careers in health care. All 18 students have made plans to pursue post-secondary education in a health science-related field.
