The Mid-Carolina High School girls tennis team was recognized during Monday’s school board meeting for being named the Region AAA champs, AAA Upper State champs and AAA state runner up. They played for the AAA state championship on Nov. 12 at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center. They finished as AAA state runner up with a loss to Bishop England. Their season record was 15-3.
