WHITMIRE, S.C. — Whitmire’s senior guard Aidan Davis puts pen to paper and signs with Columbia International University. The senior lead the Wolverines in scoring this season with his great touch from the perimeter. The sharpshooter constantly kept opposing team’s defenses on their toes with his ability to shoot the ball from the three-point line and mid-range.
The Wolverines didn’t have a great win-loss record but Davis sharp shooting kept his teams in many games this past season. Some of his best games includes a 18-point game high in a blowout win over Riverwalk on Dec. 7th.
Davis will join a Rams’ squad that finished the season 20-12 last season and averaged 79.2 points per game. His ability to shoot it from deep could help them keep their high percentages from the field(49 %FG) and from long range(35 % 3PT). He could also earn himself some minutes as a freshman with three guards graduating this spring for the Rams.
