COLUMBIA — The Newberry Wolves men’s and women’s track and field team were back in action at the Weems Baskin Invitational. Surrounded by division one talent, Newberry saw Anne Bouwkamp reach a program milestone.

Bouwkamp finished eighth in the steeplechase event with a time of 13:50.93, she was able to break a school record. Freshman Paige Lehine also set a school record with her 20.12 meters performance in the women’s javelin throw.

On the men’s side, James Glenn had a 10.87 conclusion in the 100 meters dash. Granger Garrison followed suit with a 52.10 school record in the 400 meter dash. In the 5000 meter run, Quinn Wilson finished in 16:30.44. Shelton Reynold recorded his personal best in the 5000 meters, with a time of 16:51.35.
