NEWBERRY COUNTY — The South Carolina Department of Transportation has closed the bridge on Belfast Road near Bush River in Newberry County for repairs.
Crews are expediting these repairs and more information will be shared at a later date. A signed detour route will be placed.
SCDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes, if possible and asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving through a work zone.
