PROSPERITY — Mid-Carolina Middle School Male Call and Leading Ladies celebrated their end-of-year luncheon on May 22 and 23.

The young men and women spent lunch celebrating their growth mindsets as well as their mentors. Each mentor donated their time throughout the year to support these students. For each meeting, mentors spoke on the Seven Mindsets and made real-world connections. The luncheon was sponsored by Steelhorse Smokehouse BBQ of Newberry.

Alia Hunter served as one of the guest speakers for the Leading Ladies. Members of the Leading Ladies are: Montana Holloway, Karla Rudd, Iysis Williams, Skyler Helton-Sammons, Alexandria Battle, Zy Lott, Nyla Cannon, Taylor Richardson, Keely Buckhannon, Emma Wicker, Mary Sue Livingston, Anne Marie Livingston, Gabrielle Bookman, Josalyn Gallman, Kirah Eigner, Niyla Williams, Baylee Hamilton, Rebecca Cartee, Shelby Wilson, Jaila Gallman, and Catherine Harmon.
