Lori Elizabeth Long of Aiken and Christopher Sterling Charlton of Aiken were married on August 8, 2015 at Aveleigh Fellowship of Presbyterians in Newberry, S.C. The bride was given in marriage by her father Dennis Howard Long. The Rev. Richard Swift officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fellers Senn and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Howard Long of Newberry, S.C. Se is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Hendrix Willingham and the late Mr. John Andrew Willingham and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lawrence Long.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Gibbs Charlton Jr. of Aiken. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sterling Ehrhart and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Gibbs Charlton.

Ms. Candice Gwendale Bouknight of Greenville, S.C., and Mrs. Lacy Long Craven or Richmond Hill, Ga., were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were, Miss Elizabeth Nicole Bickley, Aiken, S.C., Mrs. Melanie Ellman Cromer, Lexington, S.C., Miss Allison Danielle Gossett, Cayce, S.C., Miss Ashley Nicole Swygert, Newberry, S.C., and Miss Beth Ann Sawyer, Ridge Spring, S.C.

Mr. William Gibb Charlton III of Arnold, Md., was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Aaron David Burkhart, North Augusta, S.C., Mr. Jesse Paul Cromer, Lexington, S.C., Mr. Ryan David Freed, Chicago, Ill., Mr. Demitri Zachary Kritzas, Lexington, S.C., Mr. James Corey Parks, Raleigh, N.C., and Mr. Cody Lee Ritenour, Columbia, S.C.

Master Kylan Andrew Johnson of Newberry, S.C., was the ringbearer. Miss Elizabeth Hendrix Craven of Richmond Hill, Ga., and Miss Braylen Strickland Long of Newberry, S.C., were the flower girl.

Following a reception at Country Club of Newberry the couple left for a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica. They will reside in Aiken. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Newberry High School. She is a 2010 graduate of USC Aiken with a B.A. in Sociology and a 2014 graduate of USC Columbia with a Masters of Social Work. She is employed by Trinity Hospice of Aiken. The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of South Aiken High. He is a 2014 graduate of USC Aiken with a B.S. in Exercise Sports Science-Allied Health. He is employed by Carolina Heart and Vascular Center.
