WHITMIRE — The offense was the theme of tonight’s game. Whitmire kicked to Ridge Spring to start the game, and they shorty scored after to make it an early six to nothing lead. They converted the two-point conversion after as well. It was then the Wolves turn to respond, they did so when Chandler Crumley put them on the board. Nate Stanley converted the two-point conversion to tie it up to eight all. The Trojans found the end zone again at 6:27 to put them up again. They failed to convert the two-point conversion. Whitmire would then punt on the ensuing possession. Ridge Spring wound up in the end zone again at 4:13 to make it 22-8. Afterward, they converted the two-point conversion.

Whitmire had it first in the second and went on to score thanks to Nate Stanley’s 25-yard rush. That made the game 24-14. The Wolves failed to convert on the two-point try. On the Trojans ensuing drive, they would concede a fumble, which was recovered by Cason English. Whitmire started to move the ball but then was forced to punt. Ridge Spring struck again at 2:21 in the second and converted the two-point try. The Wolves then punched it in with just 24.2 seconds left in the half, thanks to Chandler Crumley. The two-point conversion was converted after, made it 32-22. The Trojans drive down the field to score with no time left at the half and found a way to score. They didn’t convert the two-point conversion, which made it 38-22.

Whitmire received the kickoff after halftime, but only managed a punt out of the drive. Ridge Spring scored again at 9:13 and converted the two-point conversion. Which made it 46-22. The Wolves started a nice drive the next possession but wound up having to punt. The Trojans next possession they had a few would-be touchdowns called back because of holding calls. That possession ended up with a turnover on downs. The Wolves would do the same on their next possession. Ridge Spring found the end zone again with 30.8 seconds left in the third, they also converted for two. That made the lead 52-22

Whitmire would then have a turnover on downs on the first possession of the fourth. The Trojans were sacked for a loss by 9 by Logan Ricks. The next play they would then score once more, on a 30-yard pass for a touchdown. They then converted for two after, to make it 60-22. The Wolves showed plenty of moxy, and grit and grinded in for one more touchdown due largely to Chandler Crumley. Whitmire kicked the pat and it missed. Ridge Spring Monetta would find the end zone for one last time at 2:58; they converted for two once more. The Wolves tried to fight back, but it wasn’t enough.
