TEMPE, Ariz. — Edison Ambarzumjan comes in ranked No. 8 in the nation for in singles competition in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association, dropping one spot in the rankings.

Since the last ranking were released, Ambarzumjan has gone 4-2 in competition including a perfect 3-0 in singles competition. Ambarzumjan defeated Axel Cronje of then No. 8 Lander for one of the Wolves points.

Ambarzumjan helped the Wolves edge out then ranked No. 35 Tusculum in a 4-3 battle. Ambarzumjan defeated then ranked No. 33 David Akinpetide in a two-set match. Ambarzumjan went on to team up with Enrico Haas to defeat Gabriel Yaguar and Tim Klee and helped secure the singles point.

In his latest singles match, Ambarzumjan faced then ranked No. 35 Jess Jones of then ranked No. 7 North Georgia. Ambarzumjan went on the defeat Jones in a three-set match.
