“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” Selah Psalm 46:1-3.
In God’s Word, we can find strength we need for today and every day of our lives. We need to put on the whole armor of God so we can be strong in the Lord.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10.
We need to look to Jesus Christ for the hope and strength we need. He loves us and will always be there for us. The closer we are to the Lord, the stronger we will be. One way is through prayer.
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:6.
God truly is our refuge and strength.
