NEWBERRY — The Newberry High School Bulldogs defeated Chapin High School by a score of 31-14 Friday night.
With a scoreless first quarter, both the Bulldogs and Eagles managed to get points on the board during the second quarter with the Eagles leading 7-6.
The Bulldogs would soon take the 14-7 lead and would head into halftime leading 17-7.
Heading into the third quarter, the Bulldogs would extend their lead while the Eagles added their final touchdown of the night with the score 24-14.
The Bulldogs would find the end zone one final time during the contest with the final score 31-14.
