So many people are preparing for the eclipse and many things are being planned. A lot of excitement with festivals and gatherings. All this will only last for a short time, then it will be over. But there is coming another day when the sun will turn black again.
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:20-21 “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon came as blood.” Revelation 6:12
We all should be prepared for that day. We want have to try and find a certain pair of glasses to look at the sun. One day there will be no need for the sun because Jesus Christ will be the light.
“And the city had no need of the sun neither of the moon to shine in it. for the glory of God did light it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” Revelation 21:23
So enjoy this great event of the eclipse. But make sure you are prepared to meet Jesus when that great day comes. This event will last forever not just a few minutes.
