CHAPIN — Mrs. Linda Gail (Funk) Morgan 74, passed away at her home in Chapin, S.C. on June 17, 2018, she was surrounded by family. She was born on May 11, 1944 in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Nellie Funk and the late George Funk. Linda was the loving wife of the late Thomas F. Morgan Jr. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Linda is survived by her daughter, Lauri Ruff (Brad); three sisters; and two grandchildren, Morgan Folta and Emily Ruff.

Linda retired from Michelin North America in 2006 where she had worked for 32 years. She was a member of the Poinsett Club, Greenville, S.C. Linda had a passion for traveling, gardening and interior decorating. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving Nina to Morgan and Emily, but also to all the children that knew her. Linda was a member of Saint Philip’s Lutheran Church.

The family extends a special thanks to her in home caregiver Betty Rowe and her hospice nurse Darcy Branningan. In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Saint Philip’s Lutheran Church: 2461 Saint Philip’s Church Rd., Newberry, SC 29108. There will be no services.
