PROSPERITY — Tonight Mid-Carolina dropped their final regular season game 35-0 against the Fairfield Central Griffins.

The teams went toe-to-toe in the first two quarters reaching halftime with no scores on the board. Things went down hill for the Rebels in the second half.

“They were a little bit more aggressive, little bit more physical than we were,” said Mid-Carolina head coach Louis Alexander. “(We) couldn’t establish any run in the second half. And when you can establish any run and you have to resort to throwing it a bunch, that’s what happens.”

The Rebels will have a two week layover to prepare for the playoffs.
