WHITMIRE — Senior standout Chase Hood participated in the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association North/South All-Star Games on May 21-22 at Lexington High School. Hood was a member of the North 1A/2A/5A squad. He started in Left Field Game One and went one for two in a 3-2 loss to the South 1A/2A/5A team.
Hood started in RF in Game Two and went zero for three with a big RBI in the eighth inning of a 7-4 victory over the North 3A/4A team. He also played second base during the contest.
