DANBURY, Conn. – Field Hockey continues their off season academic recognition with the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II League 2017 All-Academic team.

In total there were 68 student-athletes from the six institutions that earned this honor for their accomplishments in the classroom. Lindenwood and Mercy were the two schools that nabbed the most all-academic athletes with 15 a piece.

Instate rivals Limestone and Newberry tabbed 14 selections with Bellarmine being represented by seven student-athletes while Belmont Abbey rounded out the list with three.

The qualifications for the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least one full year at their current institution.

The 14 field hockey players selected were: Gabrielle Bazemore, Victoria Corriston, Allison Davis, Megan Eisenhardt, Dakota Elzy, Olivia Fraunfelter, Brady Keeler, Alyssa Kessler, Mariah Lee, Kristyna Oyola, Amber Singer, Haley Smith, Shannon Springer and Elise Utne.
