NEWBERRY — The Newberry High School Boy’s Soccer team clinched the Region 3-AAA championship Thursday night with a win over the Chapman Panthers. The Bulldogs defeated Chapman on penalty kicks after playing 90 scoreless minutes in regulation and overtime.
The win secured their second region championship in the last three years. They will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs beginning Tuesday May 1.
The Newberry High School Soccer Team are the Region Champions.
