WHITMIRE — The JV Lady Wolverines softball team hosted Newberry for the final game of the JV season. The Lady Wolverines came away with a 19-3 win. The win pushed the JV record to 5-9 on the year and completed a season sweep of the Bulldogs. Olivia Martin pitched the entire game and earned the win.
“At the plate everybody contributed as we had nine hits and just as many bases on balls. Overall I am extremely proud of the JV team. They played hard all year and gave everything they had. I am looking forward to next year with this group of girls,” said Head Coach Andrew Campbell.
