TEMPE, Ariz. — Newberry’s men’s tennis team moved up 11 spots to take the No. 27 spot in the Oracle/ITA Division II Men’s Team National rankings.

The Wolves are 19-5 overall and 5-2 in the South Atlantic Conference including a recent 5-4 comeback decision over nationally-ranked Anderson.

Including Newberry, five members of the SAC are nationally ranked. Wingate maintained the No. 14 spot with Queens right behind them at No. 15. Anderson fell to No. 30 after a loss to the Wolves while Lincoln Memorial improved to No. 33. Tusculum rounds out the SAC members with the No. 34 spot.

The rankings list the top 50 schools in the nation and will be released weekly until May.
