TEMPE, Ariz. — Newberry’s men’s tennis team dropped three spots to take the No. 38 spot in the Oracle/ITA Division II Men’s Team National rankings.

The Wolves are 17-5 overall and 4-2 in the South Atlantic Conference including a recent 5-4 comeback decision over conference foe Lenoir-Rhyne.

Including Newberry, five members of the SAC are nationally ranked. Wingate picked up the No. 14 spot with Queens following close behind at No. 16. Thirteen spots behind Queens sits Anderson at No. 29 while Tusculum is seven spots above the Wolves at No. 31. Lincoln Memorial makes their debut on the list coming in at No. 44.

The rankings list the top 50 schools in the nation and will be released weekly until May.
