WHITMIRE — The Whitmire Wolverines baseball team defeated King Academy 10-0 in five innings Tuesday afternoon.

Chase Hood (2-2) threw a no-hitter (giving up only one runner on an error). Hood struck out nine. He also went three for three, two 2Bs, RBI. Bailey Holloman went three for three with a 2B, 3B and four RBI. Garrett Davis got his first hit of the season in a walk-off RBI to enforce the 10-run rule.

“We are very proud of the effort that our guys gave today. You never know what you will get over Spring Break. Chase was very good in all areas. It is always special to throw a no-hitter. The guys are swinging it really well right now,” said Head Coach Chris Martin.
