NEWBERRY — On Feb. 12 the Newberry Middle School Boys Basketball Team were crowned the champions of the Little River Conference Tournament. The Tigers defeated Clinton Middle (Red) by a score of 46-38 to complete a 14-0 season. The Tigers also completed back to back seasons in which they won not only the tournament, but also the regular season conference championship.
