WHITMIRE — The JV Lady Wolverines hosted the Red Devils from Lockhart in a double header. The Wolverines were able to win the first game of the double header by a score of 16-6. Olivia Martin was the winning pitcher. She pitched all three innings and pitched. Leading hitter for the game was Samantha Hood and Lexie Conner. Hood hit a double that drove in two runs. Conner hit a triple that drove in one run.
In the second game of the double header the Lady Wolverines were able to come away with a 19-13 win. The Wolverines jumped out big in the first inning by scoring 13 runs. However, in the bottom of the first the Wolverines allowed the Red Devils to tie the game. During the second inning Olivia Martin came back to the mound and ended up getting her third win on the year. Leading hitter for the game was Nyla Hill who had two singles and scored two runs.
