NEWBERRY — The Newberry High School JV team travelled to Broome High School Monday night and defeated the Centurions 60-48. Newberry was led by Tailyn Caldwell with 22 points, Kentrell Caldwell with nine, Daywon Gary with eight and Omarian Hughes with five. The Bulldogs record is now 4-1.
Over the weekend Newberry took on Woodruff, and defeated them 45-38. Rae Wilmore had 10 points, Kentrell Caldwell had nine.
