WHITMIRE — The varsity boys basketball team lost to sixth ranked Great Falls by a score of 65-24 on Wednesday. The Wolverines never seemed to settle into a rhythm due to the stifling defense of the Red Devils.

The good part for the Wolverines is that all 12 team members played in the contest allowing them to gain experience.

Players scoring for the Wolverines were JR Epps with two, CJ Saverance seven, Trey Lyles three, CJ Wicker three, Justin Brannon one, Nate Stanley four and Sadik Chaplin four.

In the area of rebounding, Epps recorded two, Alan Stanley four, Saverance seven, Wicker two, Jaylen Bowers one, Skyler Szalla one, Brannon one, Quentin Aughtry two, Stanley two and Chaplin four.

Those who had assists recorded were Epps one, Wicker three and Aughtry one. Five players had blocked shots; Epps had one, Stanley one, Saverance two, Brannon one and Nate Stanley one.
