CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Campbellsville University’s Jaceree Caldwell was named the Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Defensive Freshman of the Year, the conference office announced on Thursday afternoon with its all-conference accolades.
Caldwell, a Newberry High School graduate, is one of eight Tigers to earn First Team All Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division honors. During the season, Caldwell notched 12 tackles for loss – ranking 10th in the Mid-South Conference. He also has compiled 4-1/2 sacks during his first collegiate season en route to earning divisional Freshman of the Year honors on the defensive side of the ball.
