PROSPERITY — The Mid-Carolina Rebels are looking to break their 0-7 streak as they host the Clinton High School Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

Head Coach Louie Alexander and his team have been focusing on pass protection and tackling as they prepare for tonight’s match-up.

“We haven’t had that many games with Clinton, but they beat us last year. They are a power running football team out of the Wishbone and have the capability of going five wide,” Alexander said.

He added that the Red Devils are very physical on both sides of the ball and that their running backs are big and physical with the capability to get down the field fast.

“We have to be able to run the ball to help our passing game and our protection of our quarterback has to be better. Defensively, we have to stop the run,” he said.

The Red Devils are currently 2-4 overall and 0-1 in region play.
