Jesus tells us to, “Love the Lord with all your heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22: 37-39.

God wants us to have joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and gentleness.

God’s will for our life is that we become more like Christ.

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience, and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1: 5-8.

If we open our heart and mind to Christ He can fill our heart with love to share with others. Have you heard the saying? Love isn’t love until you give it away. We all need love.

God gave us the best love anyone could ever give when He gave us Jesus to die for our sins. We should love the Lord with all our heart.
