Ladies and gentlemen,

I hope my update finds you well as we rap up summer and look forward to cooler weather.

First, let me announce that I will have the honor of joining a delegation of South Carolina lawmakers to Egypt from October 5-13. This trip will be a culture and commerce exchange, where we hope to bring Egyptian companies and manufacturers to South Carolina. If all goes well, this will bring a host of opportunities for people in our state and community — with good jobs at the top of the list.

Next, I would like to invite you to join me and my family for our annual constituent supper, to celebrate our community, discuss the issues that matter to us, and to thank you for your continued support. The event will be Oct. 15, 5:30 p.m. at the Newberry County Shrine Club, 196 Shrine Club Road in Newberry. It’s just under a month away, so let us know if you can come via Facebook, or email at rickmartinforsc@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

As always, thank you for the opportunity to serve you, and please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.

Your friend and servant,

Rick
