Freedom

This time of the year we think of the freedom we have in the United States. Our men and women in the military sacrifice their lives for our freedom.

A lot of times we think things are going so bad, but when we stop and think how blessed we are, we can truly be thankful.

Do we take time to pray for the President and leaders in our country? Do we pray for the military and their leaders?

Freedom comes in different ways. The most important freedom we have is in Jesus Christ. He gave His life that we could be free. The Bible tells us that we are set free in Him.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36.

Do we take time to thank God for giving His Son that we could have freedom.

It cost Jesus His life for us to experience the freedom that only comes from having a relationship with Him.

God forbid if we ever take our freedom for granted, that we have in the United States, and God forbid if we take our freedom in Jesus Christ for granted.
