At one time Peter had denied Christ three times. But things changed for Peter.
When Peter lived on the Sea of Galilee, he had a fishing business. But now the fishing business was not as precious to him as before.
Now it is not his fishing, it is his precious faith.
“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” II Peter 1:1.
Every day the Lord Jesus meant more to Peter. We should feel the same way. Each day the Lord should mean more to us. God has all power. Peter was an eyewitness of the power of God. He knew that Jesus rose from the grave, because he saw the living Saviour.
We have a great God. He is greater than all our needs. Our precious faith comes with precious promises.
“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20.
We have joy knowing that we have God’s promises and precious faith.
