Sometimes we get so involved in our problems we don’t seem to be concerned about others and what they are going through.
With God’s help we can overcome our problems, and with His help we can reach out to someone and be a help and a blessing to them.
Many people are hurting and just need someone to talk to or someone to just listen. Helping others isn’t always about giving them money. A visit, a hug or some act of kindness goes a long way.
Remember the Good Samaritan, he was busy on his journey, but he took time to stop and take care of the man who had been left for dead.
“Jesus said love thy neighbor as thy self.” But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, and who is my neighbor?
A priest came by the man and just passed on the other side. A Levite, did the same thing. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and he went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring oil and wine, and set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him.” Read Luke 10: 29-37
Our life should shine in a dark world and let others see Jesus lifted up.
Shine for Jesus and be a help to others.
