Can you imagine how Job felt. He lost everything, his family, all he owned, and even his health. He even lost his friends.

He had served God and worshiped Him faithfully, and now he couldn’t understand why this was happening to him. Life is hard and sometimes we don’t understand why certain things happen to us. We may be confused and bitter, but God knows exactly how we feel, and He still loves us just as He loved Job.

When Job got the news that all his children were dead. “He sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He said the Lord giveth and the Lord hath taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job 1: 21-22

Job kept his faith in God, and God gave him comfort and peace through it all.

Even when we don’t understand what God is doing we can trust Him. Job stayed true to the Lord, and the Lord blessed him.

“The Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than the beginning.” Job 42: 12

Blessed be the name of the Lord.
