• Newberry County Animal Care and Control holds an Adopt-A-Thon at the Shelter, 240 Public Works Drive in Newberry, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adoption fees will be reduced.

• Trinity AME Church holds its second annual golf tournament at the Country Club of Newberry. This is a four-man Captain’s choice tournament. The cost is $60 per golfer.
