Piedmont Technical College and Duke Energy South Carolina are presenting a Summer Guidance Institute designed to provide guidance counselors from the college’s seven-county service region with a stronger understanding of the college’s program offerings and how they relate to the needs of employers. Seventeen counselors representing eight school districts attended the first week’s session. Theo L. Lane, district manager for government and community relations for Duke Energy South Carolina, center, shared the benefits of a technical college education with the group.
