Harvey will speak about her newest book, The Southern Side of Paradise, in which a secret threatens the tight-knit bond between a trio of sisters and their mother. This novel is scheduled for publication on May 7. It is her third novel in her “Peachtree Bluff” series, set in the picturesque fictional town of Peachtree Bluff, Georgia.
The author’s books have received numerous accolades including Southern Living’s “Most anticipated beach read,” USA Today’s “Happily ever after best women’s fiction,” and Charlotte Observer’s “Summer’s best read.” Her other books include The Secret to Southern Charm, Lies and Other Acts of Love, Dear Carolina and Slightly South of Simple.
The annual luncheon is a fund-raiser for the Newberry County libraries, and all proceeds will be used for special projects and needs of the libraries. There will be many attractive door prizes drawn during the luncheon.
